It is normal for people to sometimes feel a bit sad about life.  Being sad is part of who we are as humans.  It is not easy for us to be happy when we find something very depressing.  However, did you ever think about how it would affect your body if you continue to be sad for a long time?  It has been said by learned people that what you feel affects how your body responds to certain situations.

  • The severely depressed person can also have suicidal tendencies.  This is because of the heavy emotional baggage that the person feels.  Desperation also sets in when you feel depressed.  This is why some people who are depressed would want to end their lives.
  • Severe depression also causes most people to be catatonic.  Catatonic people tend to be paralyzed by the problems around them.  These people literally going to shut down mode and stop communicating with other people and functioning as well.
If you know a person that experience that this kind of feeling, it is best to try and talk to the person.  Make him or her realize that they are not alone.  They have people who care about them.

Sleeping is one of the things that you should never forget to do because it will help you in keeping your body healthy and suitable for work. All of us need to sleep in order to gain the lost energy during the day. However, some people have trouble when it comes to sleeping. This is why you need to take drastic action for you to be able to sleep well. If you do these steps, you will be able to sleep well at night and have pleasant dreams.

  • You should shy away from any rigorous activities 5 hours before sleeping time. This is because your body needs to relax and wind down before going to rest.
  • You should keep your room as quiet as possible. In addition to this, you should prevent it from becoming your workplace as well as your entertainment center. You should remove all distractions inside your room.
  •  Eat a well balanced diet. Vegetables and fruits have components that are said to help you sleep better. Furthermore, you should drink a warm glass of milk before sleeping. If you were lactose intolerant, it would be better for you to drink lukewarm water.
